Research Interests

I study the reproductive behaviour and physiology of animals (mostly birds). I’m also interested in engaging people in science and research.

Key research themes include:
• Causes of infertility and embryo death
• Variation in sperm traits and its influence on fertilisation success
• Mechanisms of female sperm selection
• Effects of environmental change on reproductive success in wild populations
