  • Manage the Department’s project (X) accounts, including set up, monitoring, close down and journals
  • Provide financial management data on project accounts and forecasting for the Departmental Administration Manager and Head of Department
  • Liaise with Faculty Finance and other finance offices in monitoring project accounts
  • Assist with the financial year end procedures
  • Provide cover for the procurement process as and when required
  • Deputise for the Senior Finance Officer as and when required
  • Deal with financial enquiries from Professional Service Departments within the university, inc. Finance, Procurement and Research Finance
  • Provide advice and support to colleagues, staff and students within the Department on a range of financial issues
  • Provide secretarial support for the Finance and Estates Committee
