Harriet is a researcher at the Sheffield Austism Research Lab (ShARL) working on a project titled Sensory Profiles in Rare Genetic Syndromes Associated with Autism, funded by the Children's Hospital Charity, Sheffield

She is close to the completion of her PhD at the University of Nottingham where she has investigated the experience of children with tinnitus and has developed a child-specific questionnaire measure of tinnitus impact. 

Prior to her PhD, Harriet worked on an international project that identified standard outcomes to be assessed in clinical trials of adult tinnitus treatment. Prior to this, Harriet worked for several years within international healthcare market research.

Research interests

Harriet’s research interests include rare genetic syndromes, neurodevelopmental conditions, sensory profiles, tinnitus, hearing health, and outcome measurement.
