Group's major themes:

  • The development of language
  • Sensory processing and executive functions in infancy and childhood
  • Factors that underlie well-being throughout development, especially during adolescence, and the impact of adverse life experiences during development
  • Cognitive development - see the Sheffield Cognitive Development group's website here for more information

In addition to addressing these issues in typical development, this cluster focuses on how development is impacted in children who are Deaf, or who have neurodevelopmental conditions such as Conduct Disorder, Autism Spectrum Conditions and ADHD.
