Shanshan graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2018 with a MSc Accounting and Finance. She also obtained a MSc Economics in 2019 from University of York, and then started her PhD study at the University of Sheffield. Her PhD thesis includes the empirical work on financial inclusion, bank liquidity creation,systemic risk and financial stability.
