The diversity of the modules made the course very interesting

I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the American University of Beirut and then joined the University of Sheffield for a Masters degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Human Neuroimaging.
The diversity of the modules made the course very interesting. I enjoyed all of the modules, especially Neuroanatomy and Fundamentals of Neuroscience.
My dissertation on ‘Autologous Haematopoietic Stem Cell transplantation as a first line treatment in patients with very active Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis’ was the hallmark of my course experience. I enjoyed exploring this area and was honoured to be supervised by two leading professors in this domain, Professor John Snowden and Professor Basil Sharrack

MSc Cognitive Neuroscience and Human Neuroimaging
I was impressed by the dynamics between the students and their professors. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude towards Dr Tom Farrow who was always available for help and was keen that students get the most out of the course.

I am keen to get experience in research that will prepare me to pursue a PhD in the future particularly in the field of Multiple Sclerosis.
As Carl Sagan Says, “Understanding is a kind of ecstasy”. I believe that when motivation, passion and will exist, human capacities are channelled to achieve excellence. This is my motto, and exploring this domain is an ecstasy for me.
