Opportunities to develop your skills

We also want you to be able to develop your transferable skills, and we offer you the opportunity to enhance your CV by participating in a range of extra-curricular activities that will be both personally fulfilling and attractive to potential employers.

Take a look at some of the opportunities available to you as a Sheffield student...

"At the interview, they told me that they were looking in particular for candidates with a strong international element to their degree, skills and experiences. The fact that I had good Chinese language and had already spent a year in Nanjing on my year abroad really made me stand out from the crowd."
James Sturla, BA Chinese Studies and Business Management with Employment Experience, spent a year working for Goldman Sachs in London as part of the degree 'with employment experience' programme.
