The SMI one year on: anniversary reception

SMI one year on

Since our launch in September 2014 the SMI has been on an exciting journey and we are hosting a drinks reception to celebrate our achievements and look to our future direction.

The celebration will be held at INOX Dine, where it was launched last year and will include speeches from Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shearer West, Faculty Director of Learning and Teaching; Professor Jackie Marsh and SMI Director, Professor Gwilym Pryce.

The anniversary reception will follow the SMI's first conference - New Frontiers in Teaching Quantitative Social Sciences - which will bring together the cutting edge concepts and strategies to teach quantitative methods to the next generation of social scientists.

If you would to join us at our celebration please register to attend using the link on the right hand side of this page.
