“As a teenage girl interested in science, I decided after my first degree in Chemistry to study a masters in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology in Sheffield. Sheffield was a very attractive choice because of the strong international reputation and because of the high accreditation.

“Studying Molecular Biology and Biotechnology was a huge opportunity to improve my science amplitude. What first attracted me to this course was the wide range of subjects covered in these fields, and the variety of lecture and laboratory classes.

“I had the chance to develop my laboratory skills, improve my English language and explore what it would be like to be a researcher in structural biology. Now, at the end I am so grateful for my choice because it offered me far more than a high quality education and well-rounded experience. As an international student I had the chance to open my mind, and in addition to the scientific knowledge, I also gained the experience of meeting other students and had good moments.
