Dr Tahir Ahmad is a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) at the University of Sheffield, with prior research experience at Ghent University, Belgium.
His research focuses on business process management, digital innovation, organizational strategies, technology management and international business. He has published his work in technology and organizational studies journals, including Business & Information Systems Engineering and Journal of Software: Evolution and Process.
His PhD focused on business process management and digital innovation, particularly in the context of process innovation projects at the organizational level. He has presented at international conferences and worked as a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher in the past.
His methodological expertise is mixed-methods qualitative and quantitative techniques, including case studies. He also has expertise in Design Science Research and currently serves as a Guidance Committee Member for PhD students.

Tahir believes on flexibility, adaptability, and creativity for personal and professional development. He focuses on class participation and group discussion, which creates an atmosphere of healthy discussion that leads to ideation. Besides, course material, Tahir loves to plant a seed of time management and professionalism in his students. He has used LMS, MS Teams, ZOOM, screen recorders, Google Classroom, Wooclap, Mentimeter and Turning Point applications for teaching and interactive sessions in on-campus/off-campus teaching activities.
