Year 12 History and Archaeology Taster Day

Monday 24 June 2019, 9:30am-3:00pm

Venue: Humanities Research Institute (HRI), 34 Gell Street, Sheffield, S3 7QY

Our Departments of Archaeology and History invite Year 12 students to a free 'Discover History and Archaeology Day', taking place here at the University of Sheffield on Monday 24 June - full programme details are below. The event is designed to give students a taste of what university-level study in the two subjects is like. Following a brief introduction, participants will select from a menu of seminar sessions led by PhD students from the two departments. Later in the day they will also get to meet current History and Archaeology undergraduates and hear more about what it's like to study these subjects at university.
