Thesis Title

Attachment, performance and wellbeing: The mediating effect of leader-member exchange

Scope of Research (aims and objectives)

I used theories from close relationships literature to interpret workplace dynamics in my research. Specifically, I adopt attachment theory, which proposes that people develop cognitive models from their life experience and relationships with significant others, to examine relationships between leaders and followers and work outcomes such as performance and wellbeing. My research adopts a longitudinal quantitative design.
