The Sir Sze-yuen Chung Resource Centre

The Sir Sze-yuen Chung Resource CentreThe Resource Centre was created using a generous donation from the Hon. Sir Sze-yuen Chung of Hong Kong. It provides dedicated quiet study space for all taught postgraduate students of the School of East Asian Studies. The centre contains IT and AV facilities including networked and standalone PCs with Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language capability, a collection of reference works and journals, and further work space.

Sir Sze-yuen Chung
Sir Sze-yuen Chung was a student at the University of Sheffield's Department of Engineering in the 1940s. He lives in Hong Kong and is now a prominent member of the Hong Kong establishment. All the staff and students at SEAS would like to express our sincerest gratitude for his generosity and support for our activities and we are confident that this resource centre will assist our present and future postgraduate students in achieving a fulfilling and successful time at Sheffield.
