“I studied biology, which I believe was a great choice. Passionate teachers and varied, challenging practical and theoretical work kept the whole course interesting. Without knowing it at the time, a lot of the course has provided me with valuable, transferable knowledge and skills that I have used over the last seven years. My classmates were on the same wavelength, which was probably the most important aspect. Sheffield has a way of picking people who are good on many different levels – all-rounders but with specific talents. Well, that's how I think about everyone I met: completely brilliant and interesting.
