Description
Pre-service ELT teacher training course of 120hrs minimum. These hours include;
-6 hrs of assessed teaching
-6 hrs of lesson observation
-18 hrs of peer observation
-input sessions on methodology, langauge analysis, lesson planning and staging
-4 written assignments
Programme Objectives
-To enable trainees to effectively analysis language with the objective of teaching it
-To enable trainees to plan and deliver a wide range of adult ELT lesson types with a good degree of independence
-To enable trainees to deliver a wide range of adult ELT lesson types with a good degree of independence
-To make trainees aware of a range of teaching and learning resources
-To develop trainees professionalism

Rooms ELTC rooms: specifically designed language classrooms.
D05 - classroom with IWB, seating for 25 and 3 PCs D10 - computer suite with 18 PCs (used for lesson planning) D floor other classrooms - all with IWB and seating for 20 students in groups

-Refunds (if eligible) made through the same system (ie, credited to debit/credit card).
-Deposit paid 6 weeks before course start date or by the deadline stated in your offer email. Remainder of fees paid before first day of course.
-CANCELLATION: If you have secured your place on the course by paying the deposit or full course payment and then cancel for any reason, there will be a Cancellation Fee for this. This will be on a sliding scale of time indicated below:
•Before 4 weeks - 0%
•2-4 weeks - 50%
•Less than 2 weeks- 100%
-Withdrawals: Where a trainee withdraws after the start date, fees are not refunded unless there are clear mitigating circumstances (eg family bereavement). This is at the discretion of the centre.
