Research interests
Title of thesis: The Art of (Un)Truth: a new language for memoir-writing

Through this practice-based PhD, I will develop a creative-critical memoir writing handbook, which aims to disrupt existing commercial creative writing practice and present a radical new approach to memoir pedagogy. The handbook will centre feminist narratives and democratise experimentation within life-writing, something which is encouraged within academia but less often within commercially published handbook texts. The resultant book will be both a personal memoir and a handbook designed for use within academia and by aspiring writers outside of academia.
