My research interest is in analyzing the cultural content in higher education English textbooks used in China, specifically evaluating the perceptions and reactions of both teachers and learners. I aim to identify cultural themes, implicit and explicit values, and how these elements are consumed and adapted in real classroom contexts. My interest lies in exploring how culture can be effectively integrated into language teaching to foster intercultural competence.
