- Before coming to the University of Sheffield in 2016, I worked for several years as a lawyer (and before that as a trainee lawyer) in Athens (Greece), with a special interest in criminal law

Research interests

My PhD takes a social constructionist approach to paedophilia, child sexual abuse, their (perceived) interrelation, and relevant implications for preventative policy-making; it is a cross-comparative study, with a focus on the USA, the UK, and Germany.

This research is fully funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

Supervisors: Dr. Mark Brown and Dr. David Thompson.
