Sponsorship

The presence of the legal profession is strong at Sheffield. Former students, now at the height of their professional careers as judges, barristers, CEOs and Senior Partners, visit us regularly to advise on our curriculum, meet and advise our students and deliver guest lectures. We also have practising solicitors on our teaching team and staff who have come from commercial backgrounds.

We are delighted to work closely with major international law firms on a number of sponsorship initiatives. These include provision of funds and facilities for the School such as our Slaughter and May Moot Court, student mentoring schemes, sponsorship of courses or modules and cash prizes and scholarships for individual student excellence.

The School of Law would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors.

Information for employers

The School of Law is dedicated to developing and maintaining successful partnerships with employers locally, nationally and internationally.

Whether you require assistance with a short-term project, are an experienced graduate recruiter, or are new to recruitment or would like to test the water by offering a placement or internship, we and our students are here to help.

The University of Sheffield Careers Service also provides tailored support to organisations seeking to advertise vacancies, raise their profile or develop closer links with the University as a whole. By gaining a good understanding of your needs and resources, and by using our internal networks, we can work with you on developing and delivering an effective recruitment campaign.
