Jamin Daniel Selvakumar graduated in 2019 with an MSc(Eng) Aerospace Materials. He enjoyed the research side of his course and now is employed as a research scientist at the National Physical Laboratory

While studying Aeronautical Engineering at undergraduate level, Jamin Daniel developed an interest in aerospace materials and composites, and wanted to become a specialist in this area. Having done some research into his study options, he found that the University of Sheffield offered a range of modules that suited his interests.

While studying for his MSc(Eng) Aerospace Materials, he was particularly keen on the research project, and has since take an job as a research scientist.

In this video, Jamin Daniel talks about the reasons for choosing the course at the University of Sheffield, what he liked about studying here and what he is doing now.

Jamin Daniel Selvakumar graduated from the University of Sheffield with an MSc(Eng) Aerospace Materials in 2019. He now works at the National Physical Laboratory in London, where he is pursuing his passion for research.
