BEng/MEng Biomaterials Science and Engineering
What happens when you put materials inside the body? Through the study of physical science, biology and engineering, you'll seek to find the answer, designing and developing better materials for use in healthcare applications.
MEng Materials Science and Engineering (Research)
Some Materials students decide they want to undertake further study after finishing their degrees, for example doctoral research leading to a PhD. This course includes modules developed for our PhD students as well as two individual research projects.
Drawing on the great history of metallurgy in Sheffield, you'll focus on the nature, properties and processing of metals as well as complete an industrial placement in the metals industry.
