Landscapes Online Conference

This conference will take place from the 25th until the 26th November 2020, at the University of Sheffield.

Landscapes Conference poster 1

How might the landscapes we live in be redefined in a way that responds to the most urgent challenges of our time? How do we make sense of these landscapes during turbulent times in which their topographies are constantly shifting? Questions such as these will be explored within the theme of this year's School of English Postgraduate Colloquium, Landscapes, which brings together postgraduate researchers from a range of disciplines within the UK and across the globe.

This online conference features two live keynote presentations and more than twenty-five pre-recorded talks, creative writing readings and short films. Keynote presentations and events will be broadcasted via Blackboard Collaborate, with a live Q&A. Panels and readings will be uploaded to the conference website across the two days in the form of pre-recorded videos, with talks being held via an online discussion board. Please find the full conference programme attached.
