Funding:

Please consult our fees and funding page for details of available scholarships, bursaries and loans schemes which you may be eligible for. If you wish to apply for funding (AHRC or University and Faculty Scholarships) you must apply for a place and submit your funding application before the funding deadlines. Although this deadline will also apply to your initial application for a place at the University of Sheffield it is highly recommended that you apply at least two weeks in advance, as this will give you time to rectify your application should any problems arise. The closer to the deadline you apply the less likely you will be able to amend your application, should this deemed to be necessary.

The online application system will offer you the option of applying for up to three programmes. Whilst we are happy to accept multiple applications, if you are clear which programme you require, please select one option only. In this way, your referees will not have to provide multiple references. If, however, you are interested in several of our programmes we recommend you contact the Head of PGT programmes (u.albarella@sheffield.ac.uk) who will offer advice on the programme most closely matched to your interests and objectives.

Deadlines:

Unless you are applying for funding where different deadlines will apply we recommend applicants apply for a place on a programme by 30th June. For international applicants in order to ensure paperwork is completed for your Visa, this is a firm deadline. For EU/UK applicants we will be flexible with this deadline.
