José Bruno Fevereiro is a Research Associate at Sheffield University Management School (SUMS). He joined SUMS in April 2022, working in the Just2CE project. José holds a BA and a MS degree in Economics from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil. In 2022, José Bruno completed his PhD at The Open University Business School. Previously to joining SUMS, I've worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Applied Economics Research (Brazil), at the Macroeconomic research division; as a consultant for the World Bank, in the project ‘The key players in Africa's hydro-power construction sector’; and as an Associate Lecturer at Goldsmiths College, University of London, leading modules of Foundations of Economics and Econometrics.

  • BSc and a MSc degree in Economics from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil.

His research focuses on the political economy aspects of economic development, with particular interest on the interplay between international trade, structural change and income distribution. At SUMS, José is involved in the Just2CE project, as part of the team developing an Stock-Flow-Consistent Input-Output (SFC-IO) model to assess the socio-economic impacts of the transition towards a Circular Economy.
