Description

Combustion of bio-derived fuels could contribute to our zero-carbon future and bridging the energy transition to Net-Zero. However, are existing combustion technologies ready to adopt the new bio-derived fuels to deliver efficient, low-emission energy conversion systems in transport, in our home, and in foundation industries?

This workshop will discuss that question and more, focusing on the opportunities and challenges towards the efficient use of limited bio-resources in combustion technologies.

With speakers from experts at the Energy Institute and national and international industry partners, this workshop is an exciting space for delegates from academia and industry, as well as policy advisors and early career researchers (ECRs).

Follow-up event: ECR conference

We're also hosting a conference specifically for ECRs on Pathways to Net Zero, featuring talks from the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the EPSRC, as well as the chance for you to contribute your own talk. Register for that conference here!
