Conference and grant award news

The conference was held in Hamar, Norway and brought together music education researchers from Nordic countries, UK and Ireland, Australia and America, amongst others.

In the future Stephanie intends to develop the international dimension of this life history work – but for the next year she will be kept busy with further work on audiences and musical participation, funded by an AHRC Cultural Value project grant called ‘Dropping in and dropping out: understanding cultural value from the perspectives of lapsed or partial arts participants’. Adverts for a research assistant and technical officer for this project will appear shortly.
