Explore the richness and diversity of humanity from prehistory to modernity through the study of archaeology.
Our courses are designed to enable you to take control of your own learning, allowing you to follow your particular interests and develop your own areas of expertise. You'll learn through a range of teaching methods; as well as hands-on fieldwork, there are lectures and seminars, practical classes, independent study, work placements and one-to-one tutorials. You'll also have access to our cutting-edge laboratory facilities and extensive archaeological research collections, including human, animal and plant remains.
All of our students are assigned a personal tutor, with whom they can meet at least four times a year to discuss whatever academic and personal issues they like.
